What EU VAT Pilot is

EU VAT Pilot helps EU-established online sellers understand the VAT treatment of their orders under the 2021 EU e-commerce VAT rules — per-order classification, the €10,000 distance-sales threshold, and OSS / IOSS return summaries. It is a pilot version: it works, it is tested, and it is also young software that is actively evolving. It is currently free to use.

Guidance, not tax advice. EU VAT Pilot is a calculation and bookkeeping aid, not a tax advisor, accountant, or law firm. Its output is based on the standard VAT rates and rules configured in the app (the rate table shows when it was last verified) and on the data you enter — if the data is wrong or incomplete, the output will be too. You remain fully responsible for your VAT registrations, returns, and payments. Always confirm your obligations with a tax professional or your national tax authority before relying on any figure.

Your account

Fair use

Don't abuse the service: no attempts to break in, disrupt, overload, or scrape it, no use for anything unlawful, and no reselling access. Accounts that abuse the service can be suspended or removed.

Availability and changes

This is a pilot: we aim to keep it running and your data safe (encrypted storage, daily snapshots), but we do not promise uninterrupted availability, and features may change as the product develops. You can export all your data at any time from the Settings page, and material changes to the service or these terms will be announced in the app or by email.

Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for indirect damages or for the consequences of tax decisions made on the basis of the app's output (see the disclaimer above), and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service — currently nothing, as the pilot is free. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Ending things

You can stop any time: delete your account on the Settings page and every piece of your data goes with it, immediately (details in the privacy policy).
